The consultants at Wyatt Health Management have several years of combined experience in Pharmaceuticals / BioPharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Group Benefits / Insurance and Medicine. We have held accountable roles in senior management in Market Access, Clinical Research, Regulatory, Quality Assurance, Operations, Compliance, Sales & Marketing and Hospital Account Management. This broad range of senior experience provides us with a comprehensive understanding of business matters resulting in more practical solutions for our clients.
George Wyatt is the Managing Director and founder of Wyatt Health Management’s parent company, Wyatt Management Consulting Inc. He has over 20 years experience servicing the Pharmaceutical / Biopharmaceutical sector. He has held a number of senior positions, including Director, Market Access and Policy Development and Regional Manager, Hospital Division at Bristol-Myers Squibb. He has developed, managed and implemented programs at the regional, national and international level and serves on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association for Healthcare Reimbursement. Mr. Wyatt holds a B.Sc. from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and an M.B.A. in Marketing and Strategic Management from the Schulich School of Business at York University where he won the Graduate Business Council Gold Medal for Academic Achievement. He has also studied health policy at the graduate level at the University of Toronto.
Valerie Gladu is the Director of Client Services for Wyatt Health Management and brings over 20 years of pharmaceutical experience to the company. Valerie has an extensive background and proven track record in sales, marketing, account management, strategic planning, organizational development and compliance. She recently held the senior position of Vice President, Compliance, Strategy and Innovation responsible for Learning and Development (Training), Medical Communications, Market Research and Marketing Operations. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Lethbridge in Alberta.
Kim McDonald-Taylor is Director, Clinical Services and has 20 years experience in the Clinical Research arena. Ms. McDonald-Taylor joined Wyatt Health Management in October 2007 after 12 years with Endpoint Research in various positions including Managing Director for the Canadian Operations, Vice President of Operations and Director. Prior to her employment at Endpoint Research, she worked with a number of pharmaceutical companies in clinical research. Kim earned her M.Sc. in Toxicology from the Ontario Veterinary College and her B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Guelph. She also completed The Management Course at the Canadian Management Association and has a Diploma in Applied Statistics. Kim is the President for the Clinical Research Association of Canada (CRAC) and brings a clinical perspective to Wyatt Health Management.
Roger MacPhee is Director, Health Policy with Wyatt Health Management and brings over 30 years of successful experience and knowledge in the Canadian pharmaceutical industry to the company. He has held a number of senior positions in Sales & Marketing, and achieved significant results as an Area Sales Director and Trainer. He also has a successful track record in the market access arena dealing with public and private payers. Roger is the editor of one of Wyatt Health's most popular publications, CDR Tracker™.
Alan Coley is a Senior Consultant, Regulatory Affairs. Alan has over 20 years experience in Global Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance and most recently held the position of Vice President Operations with a major medical devices firm. Alan's experience includes strategy development and implementation on a Global scale. He has made presentations to Health Canada, the FDA and the European regulators on a variety of products ranging from cutting edge diagnostic devices to injectable pharmaceuticals. Alan holds a degree in Pharmacy with graduate level courses in statistical analysis.
Dr. Alan Holmes is a Senior Medical Consultant with Wyatt Health Management and brings over 20 years of experience in the Community and Hospital sectors. He has worked for over 10 years each in Canada and the USA, having first hand experience with both Fee for Service and Managed Care. He has designed and implemented business models for Physicians and a Non Profit Organization, sat on numerous Hospital Boards and consulted on an Investigational Review Committee for the FDA. Dr Holmes holds a B.Sc. (Biochemistry), B.Med.Sc. and M.D. from Memorial University. He is Board Certified in Family Practice in Canada and the USA. He also holds an M.B.A. from Rotman School of Management in Toronto. Alan brings a strong understanding of the complexity of the linkages between health care, technology, business and funding.
Karen Black is a Senior Consultant, Private Health Care and Communications with Wyatt Health Management and has over 15 years of experience in group benefits. During her career, Karen spent seven years with three of Canada’s major insurers specializing in marketing, client communications and drug program management. Prior to joining Wyatt Health, Karen spent eight years working in benefit consulting firms, advising a wide array of clients on employee benefit communications and research. Karen holds a B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Toronto and an M.B.A. from Rotman School of Management.

Wyatt Health Management is growing rapidly and we are searching for the right, qualified candidates in the following areas:
Candidates interested in the reimbursement positions should have a solid understanding of the Canadian health care system, the Pharmaceutical / Biopharmaceutical and Medical Devices industries. You should also have a good understanding of how reimbursement schemes work in the public and private sectors. It is an asset if you have experience preparing submissions and pharmaco-economic reports for public and private drug plans.
Candidates interested in data management must demonstrate a capability to work with data in a way that promotes good decision-making. What skills do you possess to make good sense of data? Grab our attention by showing us a sample of your work. Please take out any identifiers to protect intellectual property.
All candidates will be comfortable using computer software (word processing, spreadsheet, presentations, databases), have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with fluency in French as an asset. Candidates must be able to work independently and produce results without close supervision. They must also be team players. Travel may be necessary.
